IMPOUNDED VEHICLE RECOVERY – HELP CENTER

 Vehicles may be towed and stored for a variety of reasons but usually as a result with a violation of a New York Vehicle Code Section. We do not make the decision regarding the impounding of any vehicle. That is the duty and responsibility of the police officer. We simply provide the service at the officer’s request.

We release impounded vehicles between 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. (Please arrive 10 min before closing time to release vehicle)

Vehicles may also be inspected and unattached personal property may be removed between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.

Acceptable forms of payment include, cash, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. ( There will be a 3.5%  processing fee added to your bill when paying by debit or credit card ) 

 

We will need the following information in order to release or allow you to inspect your vehicle or permit you to remove unattached personal property:

​

1. Make of Vehicle.
2. License or Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
3. Government issued photo identification such as a Driver’s License or Identification Card.
4. Proof of ownership such as current registration, title, or rental agreement.

 

If the law enforcement agency that requested your vehicle to be towed has placed a HOLD on your vehicle, you must obtain a release from that agency before we can release any property, or allow you to inspect or obtain possession of your vehicle.
